Main Control Valve

Removing rust and contaminants is vital before abrasive painting or protective coating can be applied. Our team of certified abrasive blasters and painters have taken on all levels of corrosion across a wide array of industrial equipment and infrastructure. Depending on your environment, scale of damage and type of metal/alloy, we’ll identify the right blasting media that adequately removes rust, maintains durability, and doesn’t harm the environment.

We have robotic systems for selected abrasive blasting services and can source a multitude of different blasting media suited to your application. Types of blasting media and methods we use include:

  • Sand blasting
  • Steel blasting
  • Water blasting
  • Garnet blasting

In addition, we also offer ultra high-pressure cleaning if abrasion isn’t necessary to remove any surface grime and contaminants.

We can conduct abrasive blasting on-site or in our specialised facilities. Plus, we have extensive experience in transporting larger items requiring off-site abrasive blasting. We’ve organised transport for everything from mining conveyor belts to wind turbine components.

Main Control Valve

Our team began the project by abrasive blasting the pipework. Afterwards, the client organised and conducted an NDT crack test on the pipes to identify any points of weakness. To finish off, we applied a new primer and topcoat protective finish to ensure the durability of the pipes for the long term. In total, this project took our team a week to complete.

Abrasive Painting:

We can remove any rough edges and vary the grit level to get the exact surface texture you desire before adding a high-quality colour of your choice. Once we’ve applied new coloured coats, we can complete the job with additional protective coatings designed to extend the life further. Our team have obtained a Cert III in Surface Preparation and Protective Coatings and are trained in a range of specialised protective coating products. This allows us to identify the right coating product for your structure and equipment in your intended environment.
