High Pressure Water Cleaning

McElligott Partners Pty Ltd can provide specialised cleaning services for surface preparation and removal of surface contaminates such as salts, chlorides, grease, oil, dirt and sludge from most surfaces.

We have the process and procedures for cleaning/removal all waste in an environmentally friendly and safe manner.

Our equipment, 'Pressure Masters' units, ranging from 3,000 to 20,000 psi have been utilised in all types of environments.


Abrasive Blasting

McElligott Partners Pty Ltd use the latest technology for all types of abrasive blasting including vacuum blasting used in areas where absolutely no dust can be tolerated. Lead based coatings or any other toxic coatings can also be removed with the assurance that little (if any) residue from the blast process will be left behind.


Protective Coating Application

Application can range from simple brush & roller application through to a conventional standard spray pot application and complex airless application systems where high volume solids coatings are required.

McElligotts are approved applicators for a wide range of various manufacturers coating systems, including approval for a range of Denzo products used for pipe wrapping for the protection of pipelines.

McElligotts are approved applicators for a number of passive fire protection coating systems covering a wide range of products for varying fire situations.


Specialised Coatings and Linings

McElligott Partners Pty Ltd are continually involved with new technology including high performance robotics equipment for the use of specialised coatings and linings. This new technology involves International Paints and their product Elastomeric Urethane “Polibrid 705E, along with other paint manufacturers and systems, such as chopped fibre and laminated coating application systems. Providing ultimate long term corrosion protection for steel and concrete surfaces, in extremely aggressive environments such as waste water, mine's, off shore rigs, oil & gas plants to name a few.


Lead Removal and Containment

McElligott Partners Pty Ltd involvement with the removal of lead-based coatings from mostly steel structures presents a number of major challenges to the protective coatings industry. Containment of the work site, and the collection and the disposal of waste material in the correct manner are key areas to be managed in the process.

McElligotts have researched and developed techniques to make lead removal as safe as possible. This includes work area encapsulation, creating a negative air environment within the enclosed areas and improved dust extraction systems.

Remediation of heavy metal contaminated soils

McElligott’s Remediation Services provides solutions for the treatment of lead contaminated garnet waste and to the broader treatment of the likes of mercury, cadmium, zinc, chromium, nickel, arsenic, lead etc contaminated soil. Such treatment has significant benefits across a number of industries including, oil and gas, mining, railways and many manufacturing sectors.

The process reduces TCLP concentration to levels that deem the waste non- hazardous and enables material to be used for the likes of road base and land fill cover.
